Turn quick view on#
- Open Theme settings → Product cards.
- Enable Enable quick view.
- Choose Buttons or Select under Quick view option picker.
- Choose Color swatches, Variant thumbnails, or Text buttons under Quick view color style.
- Preview a collection card, open quick view, select options, and verify the selected variant before adding.
What the modal is for#
Quick view is a compact product experience, not a replacement for every product-page block. Use the full product page for complex instructions, quick ordering, subscription-specific configuration, or other specialized buying flows. Availability depends on the product data and the current quick-view implementation.
Common checks#
- Confirm a sold-out option is handled clearly.
- Test keyboard opening, Escape, and return to the triggering card.
- Check color changes update the intended image and variant.
- If a third-party app needs a full PDP, provide the full product link and test that integration separately.
