Add a promotion#
- Open a collection template → Collection page → add Collection promotion.
- Enable the promotion and optionally restrict it to selected collections.
- Choose Insert before product. Position 1 appears before the first product in the relevant grid.
- Choose first-page behavior, filtered-results visibility, and mobile visibility.
- Set desktop/mobile column spans, row span, minimum heights, image, text and destination.
Keep the grid understandable#
Use promotional content relevant to the surrounding collection. A wider promotion can change the apparent card rhythm. Check its placement after sorting, filtering and pagination rather than judging only the first unfiltered page. Empty promotions can be hidden by the implementation.
Check mobile separately#
Set the mobile span and height deliberately, or use Hide on mobile. A desktop image with embedded text may not remain readable in a two-column mobile grid.
